ABOUT BEN
I grew up in Dallas and went to college at the University of NM, majoring in fine arts. I moved to Durango in 1980 because of its great schools.
Before becoming a Realtor I was a builder and general contractor for over 20 years (I know houses). I also spent time ranching and raising horses and mules. I also was a Ski Patrolman and ski instructor for 20+ years.
Aside from work, my Durango lifestyle includes: skiing at Durango Mountain Resort (I still call it Purgatory), bicycle riding (both road and mountain bikes), going on raft trips with good friends along the many scenic rivers in the area, fly fishing, riding a duel sport motorcycle, hiking on our beautiful mountain trails or walking along the Animas River Trail, going to music festivals in the area, and going out with friends to the plethora of great Durango restaurants.
One of the many perks of my job is that my clients become my friends.
